Why the iPhone 4 Sux 4ever

For all you iPhone 4 enthusiasts out there, the WindowsApple Dev Team is announcing that the iPhone 4 is a total fail. Just think about it. Live video calls seem sweet, but there's only ONE way to do that with an iphone. Guess how? Buy one for every single family member that you want to connect with. Yup. That's right kiddos. Around $200 plus $1200 yearly fees means you might run a little low on money. We say, stick with the iPad.

The iPhone 3GS is still availaible and Verizon is coming out with iPhone support as well. Finally a reliable service.

I have a 3G and see no reason to upgrade at all. I just installed the new OS and I am just as content sticking with this phone till it just dies. If I really wanted the fancy stuff this new phone can do I would just jailbreak my phone, but seeing as I have not done that yet, I see no reason to have the latest "greatest" apple phone.

You must not care about multitasking...

Not on my phone. I can't think of anything I would need to do on a phone that would require multitasking. I can't say I miss it, but like I said, if I wanted it I would jailbreak it. The same goes for a video camera.

Don't think VW is going to have support for it. Believe it was determined they weren't going to.

Funny, I think of my iPhone as more of a PDA than a phone. I've made great use of multitasking thus far...

BTW, last time I checked, jailbreak doesn't give you anything resembling the iPhone 4's features. Jailbreak multitasking is terrible, it doesn't give you an HD camera in the back, nor a chat camera in the front, nor an HD display, nor an LED flash. So jailbreaking is no replacement for the iPhone 4.

All that said, it sounds like you don't use your iPhone for as many things as I do, so none of this probably matters to you...

I never read that anything was "determined" ... there have been rumors both ways.

Yeah I can see it for someone like yourself who really digs into the features and uses it for a PDA. I use it to text, phone calls, email, pics, some internet and games.....lots of games. I do use the ipod in my car, but really that is about it. I guess I just kinda use it for a phone and simple quick tasks. I had a Palm treo 750 before this one and I didn't use it like it could have been either and it had MS mobile office. Guess I am more of a "do it on a computer" kind of guy
