    Flash Drive

Can I use flash drive as an normal usb memory stick?

    R New 16GB USB 2.0 Flash² Memory²Pen Stick²Drive 16g - eBay (item 160459274659 end time Jul-29-10 06:22:23 PDT)

I thinking of buying it, but I need to be sure it will do the same good as memory stick does.

I wanna put movies on it from my computer and put it in the tv and watch it there, will it work with flash drive?
p.s. I have no idea what flash drive is

As electrotune1200 says this will be perfectly ok. USB sticks, flash drives, thumb drives, are all names for the same thing.
However, if you want to play movies from your pc on your TV you may have difficulty with the file format.
If the movies are in DivX or AVI. format I don't think they will play.
You may have to convert them back to DVD files. You'll find some free software to do this in the software section.

    Hope this helps, John

A Flash Drive is just another one of the names of a Thumb Drive, Jump Drive, Pen Drive, Key Drive, Token, USB Stick, or simply USB Drive

There are no performance specs. So it will be difficult to say how well it will perform. Here are 2 examples of 2 different drives of the same make. Note the significant difference in access times.
