Have you been over to extreme endurance lately? Post 192 and 199.
They are writing 3,000GB a day with the endurance app. I haven't written 3,000GB in the past 12 years!!!!!

Thank you kind sir. I have been keeping tabs on the SSD's in general since October last year. Reading Anandtech and keeping tabs of ratings at Newegg. Vertex2 has really gone in the trash can unfortunately. Swithing to the newer Sandforce controller really was bad. I got the numbers wrong. I think they went from Sandforce 1200 to the 1500. Intel is the nand/mem chips.
Anyway it looks like Intel 320 at the moment. I have the money I'm just not a 100% sure I really want to spend it on an SSD. I'm sure you know how that is. Mike
