Hello geeks.
Quite often when a computer has crashed, the user mentions that Event Viewer told the reason was a Kernel Power Error (ID 41).
However, Kernel error 41 is not the reason why the computer crashes. This event tells that the computer crashed and had to be hard reseted, but it does not tell why.

Information
Description of Kernel-power error, ID 41- The last sleep transition was unsuccessful. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding failed or lost power during the sleep transition
- The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding crashed or lost power unexpectedly.
When posting and asking help, please tell what your Event Viewer has logged just before the Kernel 41. The more information you provide, the better change you have to get your issue fixed. Attaching latest BSOD dump files Windows creates is also very important. If you don't know how to attach a dump file, read
this tutorial.
