My computer kept freezing when i watch video in fullscreen or playing games
I tried to go to safe mode but my monitor show no signal at the monitor screen
I tried uninstall the graphic card then suddenly my monitor screen show no signal

I reformatted the com but it still doesn't work
When i using the recovery disc the monitor show no signals but i still can do a full system recovery by using my imagination as the screen show no signals

Sometimes a message will pop up says kernel driver error

Im using windows 7 Home Premium , my graphic card is GT220

Can you see the POST screen / BIOS prior to loading Windows? Or is there no signal at all?

If you can see POST / BIOS but lose signal as Windows loads - then that's interesting, as the recovery/safe mode uses the generic VGA driver.

The fact that the PC kept freezing coupled with the loss of signal suggests that either the card, or power supply may be faulty.

May i know hw to check whether the graphic card is faulty or the psu

If my graphic card is faulty my monitor screen will show some funny colour thing
but it doesn't.

Got one time i received a bsod and it says nv4 disp.dll

Ya i can see the bios and the safemode but 7mins later it will show no signal

nv4 disp.dll is a nvidia driver, but it's not loaded or used in safemode.

This 7 mins later 'no signal', is that only in normal windows, or is does it occur it no matter where you are? ie BIOS Safe Mode etc

If it's in 'normal Windows' only - then it sounds like a simple driver issue.

If it's losing signal in the BIOS and Safe Mode (driver independent) , it may be worth checking your cards temps with something like GPU-Z if it's losing signal after a certain amount of time.

I know it sounds stupid but the loss of signal on the monitor could be a cable issue.

Not a stupid suggestion at all.

The cable could be bad, the port on the card itself, even the monitor could be kicking the bucket.

What type of lead/connection do you use for your computer?

VGA
DVi
HDMI
?

Check inside the plug/socket for any bent pins (at both ends - if you don't use HDMi
