Windows 7 BSOD Locale ID: 1033

Need help with recurring BSOD crash. Thanks!
Is Windows 7
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? Vista but hard-drive problem and replaced with new HD and loaded Windows 7 (originally loaded x32 version which had the crash problem and then replaced with x64 to see if that helped but BSOD crash persisted)
- an OEM or full retail version? full retail
- What is the age of system (hardware)? ~3 years
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) new
