NTRL Missing?

Hello

I try make my raid system working. First i change my bios, so i put raid on and boot. After that my black window show text NTRL Missing try to ctrl... ok i bot again and same message again. Ofcourse i change back that bios settings, but no help for that.

After that i boot again and snap before bios F8 boot menu, so there i can pick my old c-drive and it starts normally. When i get my comps to run i run SFC /scannow it correct some errors but it wont help ntrl message.

Last i try to recovery, it goes right, but even that not helped my ntrl message.

Present time i hafty always push f8 and pick my C-drivers and start - then its working.

Any ideas what can i should do? My own ideas are put a windows 7 dvd and use some basic recovery...:shock:

I know this might sound dumb, but have you unplugged any usb devices? I got that message a lot when I would have my external harddrive plugged in at the time of boot.

Since you can select C-drive and it boots maybe your MBR is messed up.
You can try to recover the original MBR by doing:

1. Insert Win 7 installation DVD and boot from DVD drive. While in some older systems you may have to change boot order through system BIOS, most newer systems allow booting from DVD without changing boot order by simply clicking on any key when prompted to doing so.

2. Choose your default "Language", "Time", and "keyboard Input" on the first window and click next.

3. You're now presented with 3 choices. Click on "Repair Your Computer" to gain access to the System Recovery window. Now choose "Command Prompt" in order to run the desired utility which is called "bootsect.exe". Bootsect is located inside the boot folder so change your directory to boot. Now run "bootsect /nt60 C:\" if you had Win 7 initially installed in the C partition. Alternatively, you can run "bootsect /nt60 SYS" or "bootsect /nt60 ALL" to repair the system partition or all partitions. Eject the DVD, and restart computer. Your computer should now boot Win 7 again.

No i dont have any USB harddrive connect by that time. Also i share same opinion like you - there must be something wrong my boot order(MBR).

Yeah i should try that one like you said 1,2 and 3. Anyway my C -harddrive are so large, so i hafty make backups those files - make sure if something goes wrong.
