First remove sptd.sys, used in daemon tools and alcohol120 the alwasy cause BSOD's

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Ok I deleted that driver, but I couldn't use that uninstaller you recommended. When I double click on it, it says that it's not a valid win32 application. So I just looked for it in the explorer and deleted it. Anything else you see suspicious in that dump file?

Please don't bump. We are all volunteers here and we get to a thread as soon as we can. Good job on getting rid of sptd.sys. Your latest dump is error code A and blames memory corruption. It does not give us a specific cause of that corruption.

I find some outdated drivers loaded on your system. One is quite obsolete. Older drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Update these drivers.
atksgt.sys Sun May 17 09:36:34 2009 - part of a Copy Protection platform dveloped by Tages SA. TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection System. Update this driver. If there is not a newer driver, uninstall Tages.

ctac32k.sys Wed Jul 02 04:38:22 2008 - Creative Audio Driver, Creative Worldwide Support. This an obsolete driver; update it.

lirsgt.sys Sun May 17 09:06:57 2009 - part of a Copy Protection platform developed by Tages SA, TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection System. Update this driver. If there is not a newer driver, uninstall Tages.

nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Update this driver.
How to find drivers -
- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box above. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page:
Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page:
Drivers and Downloads
Take care of the above drivers, especially the 2008 driver. Reboot and let's see how your system does.

Sorry about the bumps. Ok I downloaded the latest Tages, when I double clicked on it a message said The drivers were correctly configured and are running. Do you want to uninstall the,? I said no and just let it be. As for the Creative sound, i first used the auto update program from Creative, it said I had the latest driver which is 2.18.0015. I checked the website to make sure and that's the latest driver which is out for my product. They did have a Windows 7 driver section seperate from the other drivers. I checked it and there was nothing updated there. For the Nvidia Chipset driver I also already had the latest one available which can be found here NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.49 WHQL. So the only one I was really able to update, that's if it actually did update the Tages drivers. Thank you for the instructions, I'm hoping my system wont take anymore dumps. If it does, i'll be sure to upload the dump file. Thank you :)

Thank you for the update - and you are welcome for the help. You did very well. Let's see how your system does. I am concerned about that Creative driver since it is two years out of date. Tages has a reputation for causing crashes on some Win 7 system. If you get another BSOD, upload it to us and then I recommend that you uninstall Tages.

Here is the latest BSOD I have received. Since I first started this thread the number of Bsods has dramatically decreased, this is the only one I have received in a couple days.

As you can see, the dump did not give us much information. The following drivers are shown as unloaded modules. This means they were involved in the crash. They are all up to date.
CT20XUT.SYS - Creative 20X Utility Effects.
CTEXFIFX.SYS - Creative XFi Effects.
CTHWIUT.SYS - Creative Utility Effects.

This driver is not up to date:
ctac32k.sys Wed Jul 02 04:38:22 2008 - Creative Audio Driver. Creative Worldwide Support
It may have been the trigger for this crash. If you cannot update this driver, you need to upgrade your sound card. Also, update your chipset drivers.
nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

2 BSODs today, here there are. As for the chipset driver, I already have the latest chipset drivers from Nvidia's website. The soundcard though would have to wait till I can get more money.

All three dumps blame memory corruption and although a specific driver is not blames, the evidence in the dumps point to a driver related problem. The are the drivers that are out of date and loaded on your system. I suspect the 2008 driver is the main problem. The Tages drivers are Vista drivers and may work with Win 7.
atksgt.sys Sun May 17 09:36:34 2009 - part of a Copy Protection platform dveloped by Tages SA. TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection System.

ctac32k.sys Wed Jul 02 04:38:22 2008 - Creative Audio Driver, Creative Worldwide Support. This an obsolete driver; update it.

lirsgt.sys Sun May 17 09:06:57 2009 - part of a Copy Protection platform developed by Tages SA, TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection System.

nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.
Since you have to wait before you can upgrade your sound card, you can do three things. First, rather than uninstalling Tages, you can rename the two drivers from .sys to .old. and reboot. The drivers will not load. This will break the Tages software; but you can rename them again to .sys. Secondly, you can rename ctac32k.sys to ctac32k.old and reboot. This will probably break your sound card. But you can see how your system runs without the three drivers. If your sound card still works, you have save some money. Thirdly, you can test your RAM to see if RAM is the problem.

Run Memtest86 following the instructions in this tutorial:
[FONT=&quot]http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html. Run Memtest for at least seven passes; this will take 6-8 hours. Preferably, run it from a cold boot after your computer has been off for a while. Post your results.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff880489a9c98, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800022c2099, address which referenced memory

Ok I renamed the sound card driver to .old, I then uninstalled Tages with the uninstall tool from their website. I ran memtest and did 14 passes without any errors. I will post up any BSODS if they occur, thank you. Right now it seems the sound is still working properly with music and gaming.

Your dump blames hardware.
Error code A, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Usual causes: Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility.
Good job with your drivers. They look up to date with one exception:
nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.
Suggest you check the nVidia website for this particular driver.

Test your RAM with Memtest86 following the instructions in this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html. Run Memtest from a cold boot after your computer has been off for a while. It will take about 6-8 hours to run. Post back with your results.

Arguments:
Arg1: fffffa80525911c6, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800022dbeb9, address which referenced memory
