Computer freezes randomly.

Hey guys, im having a problem with my computer where it will freeze at random times. When i mean freeze i mean, completely freeze, im not able to access task manager, or move my mouse, or even turn on/off num lock, everything just freezes and i have to restart my computer by holding my power button down. I have recently reformatted my computer completely to try to fix the problem, but it still freezes. I have also ran memtest for 9 passes and had no errors, so im kind of out of options. im sorry if im not very specific about my problem, but it is because im not really good with computers. if you guys have any other questions about my computer i can hopefully answer them. any tips or help would be appreciated.

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Let us know if you need help with any of this.

Ken

Sorry ken, i'm not too sure what i am supposed to be looking for =/ i cant seem to find any app hang or crash

edit: okay ken, ive looked for the red in the left column and it only states application failure. also the timestamps on them does not match the times when my computer suddenly freezes.

edit2: sorry ken is this what you were looking for? Event ID: 41 source: Kernel-Power Task category: (63)

sorry about the double post, but i have some more info in the attached files my OS is a windows 7 ultimate x64 the computer itself is about a year old now, the OS currently installed is about 3-4 weeks old. The computer stopped freezing up for the past 3-4 days, then today it came back and froze.

My system freezes randomly and unable to shutdown or restart it.
When it freezes i have only option i.e. shutdown by switching off power or restart manually.
Sometimes it stars normally and sometimes it hangs(I have stopped utorrent then it fixed).

Here also some screen shot of event viewer......
