BSOD When Running high-video-card-usage programs

I keep getting BSODs while playing video games like Star Wars: the force unleashed, COD: Black Ops, etc... Also, these games and other programs constantly crash or randomly restart my system. I am Somewhat computer savvy, but not nearly enough to know what to do to fix this (other than take it to a PC repair shop, or buy a Mac).

Many thanks for any help.

Hi skeetpants and Welcome to the Forum!

Your .dmp files indicate many different reasons for your Blue Screens. Start by sorting out your drivers.

McAfee is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Your Mcafee drivers are also outdated (pre Windows 7). I suggest that you uninstall McAfee using the McAfee Removal Tool until your issue is resolved. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!
Once your BSOD issues are resolved, feel free to try an updated version of McAfee.

Outdated drivers to update:

Rt86win7.sys Thu Feb 26 09:04:22 2009 Realtek LAN RTL811

RTL8192su.sys Wed Nov 11 08:54:27 2009 Realtek Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter

atikmdag.sys Thu May 27 17:44:23 2010
atikmpag.sys Thu May 27 17:25:19 2010 Catalyst Drivers

Many people are having issues with the latest Catalyst, 10.12. See this thread for issues regarding v10.12.

It might be an idea to download and install one of the Previous Catalyst Versions. Download and install Driver Sweeper. Uninstall present Catalyst drivers. Re-boot to safe mode and run Driver Sweeper to clean up. Re-boot to normal mode and install the "new" Catalyst drivers.

Please attach new .dmp files to a new post as and if they happen.

Thanks very much for your help, fimble. I've done everything on the list you provided. I went with v10.11 of catalyst, just in case. is there anything else you saw in my .dmp files that I should do to decrease the chances of BSODs?

Thanks again for your help,

-Frank G.

EDIT: Apparently there are some more things I need to fix up...both games mentioned above crashed within a few minutes of starting them up.
