Please help before I have no hair left. Win 7 64 bit fresh formats and load drivers. I'm getting many BSOD pages. crosshair 3, amd 720 BE phenom 2, xfx 5770 vid card, patriot 2x 2gig gaming ram,

Computer was crashing so fast I decided to reformat again

I went to asus site and downloaded the latest drivers. I did not load asus probe as far as I know. Asus drivers comes in a pack. I also downloaded up to date drivers for xfx hd5770 vid card. I have had on crash so far, and this was a weird screen, not a typical blue screen.Could this be a hardware issue? There is one driver missing, but researchng that most people say i dont need it. I also wanted to state that I have run a chkdsk at bootup with no errors. I ran memtest 86 for at least one full pass without errors. If any other info is needed please let me know. Thanks, Marc

Hi msd4141.

Is your Ram matched? Same Manufacturer, type, model, batch, timings etc.?
Download and install CPU-Z. Take snips of the Memory tab and all the SPD slot tabs that are in use. Attach the images directly to a post.

Please Run Memtest86+ overnight, after your computer has been off for about an hour . Let it run for 7 passes / 6-8 hours. If errors appear you can stop. Post back with the results.

I ran mem test 86 for 11 hours with no errors

I have not had a blue screen error yet after fresh install of windows without asus probe, and with new drivers two days ago. (HOLDING BREATH

) I did however have the weird vertical line crash yesterday morning after turning on computer (Video card?). That incident was the kernal dump file I uploaded yesterday. So far not another issue.
