driver power state failure BSOD

i have been getting a blue screen of death when i play games. it says DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. from my research this generally shows up during hibernation or shutdown. can anyone help?

All of these are blamed on acpi.sys. Can we get your system specs, BIOS version and date so we know what hardware we are dealing with?
