Windows 7 - pc froze and now running good after chkdsk

pc froze up yesterday and kept getting stuck at windows logo but i finally got in
safe mode ran scans with 3-4 virus programs nothing then i rebooted and ran check disk and it toke 2 hours to check and repair and now everything seems ok but i just want to make sure everything is fine any suggestions?
i ran Hot CPU Tester to test my mobo and cpu cant really read the results so i posted a log

im thinking it was due to some hdd problem because when i rebooted it asked if i want to start normally or repair i hit repair and it said that its repairing some hdd issue thats before i got in safe mode the check disk might of fixed it????
also i got a bsod while trying to get in safe mode

Sounds like you have hard disk errors. Use Advanced Boot Options to select Repair Your Computer and get to the System Recovery Options. Then select the command prompt. Do the following:

chkdsk /r c:
chkdsk /r d:
chkdsk /r e:
chkdsk /r f:

.etc until you get the message that the volume could not be found. For any drives that do not give the message:
"Windows has checked the file system and found no problems"
run chkdsk again as above.

I realize you may only have one disk show up in Windows explorer, but you may have more than one disk through recovery options. This is because the system creates a hidden boot partition (which will be C: in recovery), you may have a recovery partition for your PC that is hidden (which will be D: in recovery), and you will have your primary Windows partition (which may be E: in recovery). A custom PC will likely have at least C: and D: to scan.

is this a sign of hdd dieing or just errors that need to be fixed

The /r will not erase any files. If you continue to have problems with the disk after this, it may be a sign the drive is failing and you should run the manufacturer's diagnostics for the drive.

you think if i back up my files then repair it will it remain working?

Yeah, that was what I meant by the volume could not be found. There is usually a D:, but I think I deleted the system volume on my desktop, and it still works fine with just a C: drive. Nothing to worry about there.

How old is the drive? If it is less than a year old, I would contact Western Digital and see if it needs to be RMA'd. Otherwise, if it is over a year old, keep an eye on how the disk behaves for 4-5 weeks and if problems come back, consider getting an RMA or replacing the drive if it is no longer under warranty. Also, backup important files now regardless of how old it is, and continue to keep important data on the drive backed up elsewhere for the next 4-5 weeks if it is more than a year old.
