Windows 7 - Freezes, BSoD, and disk checks.

Recently for a month now my laptop has been experiencing freezes when everything just stops responding and I can't do anything unless I restart it. I just went along with it not paying attention and let it do this even if it got a bit annoying I didnt pay much attention to this. Today when I logged on it immediately froze in the middle of the welcome screen. I restarted my laptop and it happened again. I then went to startup repair and started up my laptop again when it finished, the result was only getting past the welcome screen but before being able to open anything at all a BSoD appeared or othertimes it dreezes again so I simply restarted my laptop and I had the usual disc check. These problems kept happening over and over each time I restarted my laptop. Not sure if it would help or not, I ran a few more start up repairs only to get the same result. I also even took out my charger and battery and held the power button, hoping for the best it mightve helped even though I knew it was unlikely. Does anyone know what I can do? I most likely wont be able to buy anything over $35 since my parents are really budget wise, but anything else that might help? Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you been checking your temperatures?
Use Core Temp, to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.
