half second BSOD just after window starts to start then it restarts PC

Window 7 (OEM) Started as a base ASUS
64bit Intel i5 2500k 3.3g 6M R
12GB DDR3 ram
MB Gigabyte/GA-Z68X-D3H-B# Z68 R motherboard
PSU OCZ/OCZ700MXSP 700w RT
VGA EVGA/01G-P3-1561-AR GTx560 1G R Video Card
1tb Hard Drive (originally from ASUS)

all Hard ware is new, except hard drive, CD drive and 4GB of ram and those 3 items are less than 4 months old.

I just rebuilt my computer, upgraded everything except the CD drive and the hard drive. I started it up last night and it worked ok, for some reason it wouldn't go to any sites. I registered it and after i registered it via the phone, it wont fully boot up. It starts up, gets to the screen where the windows icon appears then i flicks to a quick BSOD and restarts. The BSOD is not up long enough to read anything that is says so I'm not sure what the BSOD is telling me. I have attempted to do a system restore, but that has had no effect of repairing it. I also attempted to do the repair PC option but it doesn't seem to do anything either. Any Ideas as to what i might have to do to get it working?

yes, it still wont boot up. just crashes again. IT tries to do a startup repair but it fails to send the information to Microsoft. I can't even get to a position to do the BSOD dump, or download it to that PC.

I did get it to disable reboot in case of failure, but that doesn't actually help me. i don't have a way to check and see if the hard drive has issues. Every thing is only saved to the one hard drive. Safe mode fails at the same point that normal does. I can't figure a way out to fix it. I don't want to lose what little data is on there and go buy another version of windows to put on it. My luck that probably wouldn't even fix it.

Sounds like you have hard disk errors. Use Advanced Boot Options to select Repair Your Computer and get to the System Recovery Options. Then select the command prompt. Do the following:
chkdsk /r c:
chkdsk /r d:
chkdsk /r e:
chkdsk /r f:
.etc until you get the message that the volume could not be opened for direct access. For any drives that do not give the message:
"Windows has checked the file system and found no problems"
run chkdsk again as above.

I realize you may only have one disk show up in Windows explorer, but you may have more than one disk through recovery options. This is because the system creates a hidden boot partition (which will be C: in recovery), you may have a recovery partition for your PC that is hidden (which will be D: in recovery), and you will have your primary Windows partition (which may be E: in recovery). A custom PC will likely have at least C: and D: to scan.

It just finished going through / C:, it only had the one drive, d: gave me the file could not be opened for direct access. "failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50." is what it said at the end so I am doing the check disc again.

It will not be able to transfer to the event log since it is in the recovery environment. You will have to scroll up to see either "Windows has made corrections to the file system" or "Windows has checked the file system and found no problems"

It said it was "Window has checked the file system and found no problems", it still did the same thing. I finally just broke down and got a new copy of window 7, hopefully that will finally work.
