| | BSOD on freshly installed Windows, error 0x0000007a Hi, Recently I started getting random BSOD's during PC use, like every 2 or 3 days, sometimes at PC shutdown. Today I reinstalled windows, installed all my apps, and got BSOD again.  BSOD's happen randomly, never had them during gaming. I got latest nvidia drivers, and all latest windows updates. I'm running Home Premium x64 retail version, installed today on a formated ssd. Attached the dump file. Please advise what else can I try. Thank you in advance. |

Expand the "Utilities" tab and it will be the 12th one down on the list After you install it browse to C:\windows\system32\drivers and check the properties of ASACPI.sys and make sure it now says 2009. Start with that and see if it helps out. If it doesn't then I would like you to run some hardware tests 1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+ 2.
