Disk Loading Error

Hi, I have a Sony VAIO Netbook. I was using Google Chrome on this Saturday the fourth of February. My computer suddenly stopped responding altogether and I was forced to cold boot it due to absolutely no commands working. Upon restarting, I was confronted with 'Disk Loading Error has occured, press control-alt-delete to restart' Which after restarting only meets with the same results. Windows will not load, BIOS does not visibility run the start-up post.

Any advice on how I can resurrect this would be welcomed, as I'm not sure if this is a hard drive issue or perhaps a BIOS issue.
