random BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe+7cc40 (?) specially after start PC

Hello,

my laptop is a HP dv7 1080 originally with vista x64 OEM upgraded to seven pro x64 RETAIL with accademy program. Upgrade done a year ago NEVER a problem, never a BSOD. Basically never problem with my laptot. My hardware is 2008 old but i never have problems with it. I replaced only power charger and battery.

I'm unable to run System Health Report with perfmon /report because i receive a timeout error doing it but i see that on C:\PerfLogs\System\Diagnostics i've all reports that i tried to do. I'll attach it and also minidump folder.

Using Blue screen view i saw that BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION are always caused by ntoskrnl.exe

> Your crash was related to oodivd.sys DiskImage Virtual Disk Driver (Win32) from O&O Software GmbH dated 2/2009
Suggest you remove it to test.
NB, if critical update to newest

> Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads DuplexSecure - FAQ

On completion you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Using MagicISO to create ISO image files

Ok.

DiskImage removed, note i had 2011 version installed first day of passed month. Maybe some problems with old 2009 version file?

I've not more Daemon Tools, i'm using Virtual CloneDrive like virtual image disk. During last year never a problem with DT or virtual clonedrive. Anyway i've removed also SPTD not necessary for me.

It is Possible that DiskImage caused me that BSOD?

Anyway thanks you

Time will reveal all.
Keep doing what you normally do.
Good luck!
Lets hope that is the end of your BSOD problems.
Should any more occur please upload them here.

NOTE.
It is much easier to find patterns, etc, when there is more than one crash.

We prefer you wait until you have at least two so that if one is corrupt the other probably wont be.
