My system has been crashing frequently and I've exhausted all
driver related issues and conflicting software issue I can think of. I would use info provided when BSOD occurs were it not for fact that each time it happens, the screen becomes distorted and blurry such that it becomes unreadable.
I have checked with HP and N-Vidia and scoured all technical resources, and I'm convinced the display
drivers are not at fault. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled these
drivers twice to no effect. There doesn't appear to be any physical malady with my video card, etc.
I've suspected that my hard drive is the cause, because when the crashing first began occuring, it was often errors on the drive that caused it, but that has ceased to be the case.
The BSOD occurs at no particular time. The most recent occurrence was when I begin to defragment my hard drive with IOLO System Mechanics.
Any suggestions on possible ways to track down the reason my BSOD is unreadable?
If I could access the information it contains, I'm certain I can then fix the problem on my own. Thank you in advance for any kind assistance my new friends at Seven Forum can provide.
