We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Related to your ESET NOD32. Yours is from 2010. I would remove it at least to test..

zigzag3143 asked that you upload the latest crash reports because they are now probably different than the previous crash reports.

I believe there was a typo in the instructions to do so, which is probably why you were confused. ;)

Hello and glad to have found this site.

I had the same problem today after started mi Pc and then launchd Turbo Boost mode with Advanced Systemcare 6 and Mozilla Firefox with Gmail box open. After those things BSOD happened and automatically rebooted and i launched in safe mode and copied all recent error stuff and DMP file to rar file.

I'll add DXDiag from today and Rar file with DMP and other info.

Friendly regards: Terry

Hi all.

Had BSOD with automatic restart earlier today around 12:15 - 12:25 "Don't recall exact time and haven't found it from event viewer" and i didn't have minidump enabled then :/ Just enabled it by following directions on this page so i assume i can't send error report now even if i would find that from event viewer :/ So just need to wait for next BSOD and hope that it does nothing bad for my Rig.

Friendly regards: Terry
