Power cycles on and off after trying to wake from sleep

This started two days ago. When waking up from sleep, the power cycles on and off about every 2-3 seconds. This is happening before any programs are restarted, and the screen is still dark. I first thought it was my new battery backup. I called APC, and they agreed that it had failed even thou the UPS was only 10 days old,. So I disconnected it, and plugged the computer into a dedicated outlet, removed the UPS monitoring software with Revo, and then cleaned the registry with CClean, with no effect. The only new programs I've loaded, were about 2 weeks ago I added itunes, and a Win update or 2, and the battery backup software, which has been removed.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dayn
P.S.
The computer is a Win 7 Pro machine about 3 months old. I7-2600, 16 GB ram, and boots from a SSD that only holds the OS, 4 TB of HD in raid 0. No mods or overclocking....Just as it came from Micro Center.

See if there is any information provided in your wake logs: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179257-wake-source-read-event-viewer-log.html

There may also be errors in Event Viewer in regards to the wake cycle. Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
  1. Click Start Menu
  2. Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
  3. Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
  4. Expand Custom Views
  5. Click Administrative Events
  6. Right click Administrative Events
  7. Save all Events in Custom View As...
  8. Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
  9. When asked, save the display information in English.
  10. Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
  11. Create a new folder by right clicking in a blank area within the folder Errors.evtx is saved in. You could also click New Folder at the top of the directory under the directory path box.
  12. Name the new folder Errors.
  13. Place Errors.evtx and the LocaleMetaData folder into the new Errors folder.
  14. Right click the Errors folder -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
  15. Upload the .zip file here.

You have some Bonjour (Apple software) based network stress:

Re-install all Apple software following: Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

I would also recommend checking your hard disks for errors.
  • Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96938-check-disk-chkdsk-read-event-viewer-log.html.
For any drives that do not give the message:
Windows has checked the file system and found no problems
run disk check again as above. In other words, if it says:
Windows has made corrections to the file system
after running the disk check, run the disk check again.
