Error 41 Kernel-power random shut downs no Minidump

The past 2 days my laptop has been shutting down whenever it feels like it. Out of nowhere it just turns off, no Blue screen or anything. All eventvwr gives me is "kernel-power error". Minidump folder is not created. When I tried running a chkdsk my laptop would freeze during the 10 second countdown. I could not exit the countdown. I tried going through bios but my laptop shut off while in bios. It also shut off randomly while I ran the rescue disk. HDD Re generator found no errors on the hard drive and no memory errors were found. I turned off RACtask and that didn't work. I have no idea what is going on or what any of this means:

What in the world is wrong with my laptop? It's only 2 months old...it's running the RC client 7100 and just randomly started doing it. The drivers are all updated too...It also randomly shuts off my net so I cannot access any webpages. I'm not very good at this type of thing...so please try to keep it simple X_X I get confused easily..

Laptop is an HP dv4t-1300se
2.2ghz dual core
4gb ram
512 nvidia video card

Your machine has a hardware problem. Further software troubleshooting is unfortunately pointless until the underlying hardware-level defect is resolved. It may be an outright broken bit of componentry, or it could be insufficient cooling due to dust buildup or the fan being blocked by placement.

The event you posted is only a side-effect of the unexpected power down event. In other words, it's not the cause, it's just Windows noticing that something "bad" happened just then to knock out the machine without a clean shutdown.

Since it's only two months old, the computer is presumably still under warranty. If that's the case, once you've ruled out insufficient cooling I'd strongly advise you to contact HP and to seek a replacement. My suggestion would be to stay away from stories of what happens while in Windows, and to focus their tech's attention on the fact that the machine has powered itself down unexpectedly while in the BIOS. That is entirely indicative of a hardware problem and it cannot be solved by anything they may ask you to change in Windows.

I have had the error all so on a desktop system. I have replaced motherboard cpu and power supply on the system now. i have updated all drivers on the system. I have reinstalled the OS windows 7 ultimate rtm from MSDN, i have installed all MS updates and still having seeing the kernel power error as you are reporting.
oh and the c drive is new too. only thing i have not done is go to on board video card and remove the nvida card. i will try that to night.

If you're referring to the event pasted by the OP, that's only an insignificant side-effect of the fact that the machine booted without first shutting down cleanly. Virtually every BSOD or unexplained reboot - irrespective of the cause - will be accompanied by that event on reboot.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of HDD(s) are you using? I'm assuming SATA. If this is the case, can you tell me which channels it/they are on and whether or not they are set to master/slave?
