Nvidia driver causing BSOD on boot.

Windows 7 wouldn't install with my 8500gt, so I used some PCI video card to get windows 7 installed.

Problem is, I still can't use my 8500gt.

When windows detects it, it installs a driver for it and asks me to restart. I restart, then I get the BSOD right after the windows loading screen.
To get back into windows, I load a restore point.

I have managed to use windows by going to device manager and uninstalling the driver every time I boot.

I tried to download and install the driver from the Nvidia website, but when I try to install it says that I must restart my computer before I can install the driver (since the driver windows installed requires a restart).

If I remove the windows driver and then try to install the one from the Nvidia website, it says that no driver was found that is compatible with my hardware.
I am guessing that this is because it doesn't recognize my video card as a 8500gt until the windows driver is installed, so the Nvidia one can't detect it...

Any suggestions?
Could I force the driver to install even though it doesn't recognize my 8500gt?

By the way, I tried with the 191.07 and 186.18 drivers.

Download the drivers first from Nvidia, then stop windows install its update drivers, install Nvidia drivers.

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you are saying.

I was having a similar issue with it auto-installing drivers that were BSODing me. I finally had to boot to safe mode and tell it to install standard VGA drivers. I was then able to reboot and install the good nVidia drivers. (I still can't load the second cards drivers or it BSOD's but that's apparently a seperate and much more frustrating issue)
