Windows 7 Home Premium Crashes with Call of Duty 4 + 6

Well unfortunately my Windows 7 crashes when playing call of duty modern warfare or modern warfare 2.
Sometimes I can play 2 minutes and sometimes I can play 40 minutes, it's different. But one thing stays the same, at some point I always get BSOD.
It all worked fine with Windows XP.

I attached a zip of the minidump files. I hope some of you guys can help me

Hi Noctes.

You could try to see if there's an update available for Punkbuster and install.

Also, this driver is very old and should be updated if possible as well:

or better to test, completely uninstall Avira. Disabling it only, will not have the same effect. So uninstall is recommended.

Hey torrentg, thanks for your reply .

I will check if there is any update for punkbuster when I'm at home later...

Avira is my Virus Scanner, free AV Avira Antvir 9.x. It's somehow weird that this driver seems to be that old, because 9.x is the newest version which just recently had been released and should work fine together with Windows 7

Could an old (defintely strange and screwed up) USB-hub also be an issue ?
I also disconnected my not by Windows 7 supported Scanner, it was flagged with a yellow flag in the Hardware Manager.

Anything is possible, but I really think it's the Avira causing issues.

Well, allright I could uninstall the virus scanner and try... but here in germany nearly everybody who doesn't want do buy a virus scanner uses the avira scanner because it's free and doens't use many system rescources and I haven't heard about any Windows 7 driver issues with it till now.

And I should need a new and good free virus scanner then...
