BSOD every few hours on a new machine This is a new machine running Windows 7 (64bit).
My specs are in my profile.
Ran scannow on the command prompt and it fixed some corrupt files. BSOD didnt stop however
Firefox is unstable also.
BSODs occur almost randomly but I want to say when machine is pushed.
I have attached my dmp files.

I guess its an issue with your NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM i.e. Ntfs.sys that is your Hard drive.
MSDN Info: Bug Check 0x24: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
So my recommendations are Update all disk, tape backup, CD-ROM, or removable device drivers to the most current versions
Run chkdsk /f /r Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic Code:
Drivers to be Updated

Will test my memory today.
I ran chkdsk /f /r on start-up yesterday night. I went to bed and this morning I found my computer ready on the windows login screen. So I was unable to view the results of my checkdisk. Is there a command to view yesterday's results or will I have to run checkdisk again?
Also, I switched from my cordless (logitech) keyboard/mouse to the one provided by the manufacturer. After changing the USB connections while my computer was off, I got a BSOD upon windows start-up. I saw the file ntfs.sys mentioned on this blue screen. Windows was able to load normally after this initial BSOD.
Ran sfc /scannow again and it came up fine once more. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number iBuyPower/Gamer Extreme 524SLC OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz) Motherboard Chipset: AMD 770 Memory 4GB DDR3 1333 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VK246H Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 3 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Hard Drives 750GB SATAII Other Info Network Adaptors:

More BSODs I just ran the HD Diagnostic found at HD Diagnostic
It found NO ERRORS on an extended/thorough hard drive scan.
Got two new BSOD errors close to the time I was running easyPHP (development tool) and NetBeans (IDE):
Windows Service Exception

Ran Memtestx86 v4.00 and it started to spit out errors.
Next step is to go in and test each stick...will report back.
Questions about troubleshooting my ram...
So I will be taking one stick out and leaving the other in its current position? Running the test again, then repeating the process for the other stick?
Some general questions...
How does ram come to be corrupted if its a new computer??
Is their anything I can do besides replacing the memory sticks?
Can it be a problem with the slot itself (i.e. the motherboard) and not the ram? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number iBuyPower/Gamer Extreme 524SLC OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz) Motherboard Chipset: AMD 770 Memory 4GB DDR3 1333 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VK246H Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 3 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Hard Drives 750GB SATAII Other Info Network Adaptors:

Problem. Need help guys... On the FIRST (pass=0) pass memtest86 started showing errors after 15 minutes. Two 2GB DDR3 modules were in the slots at the time, each in slot 1 and slot 2.
So I opened up my computer to test each module on the first slot.
I ran THREE passes for Module 1 in slot 1. No errors.
I am currently finishing my SECOND pass for Module 2 in slot 1. No errors up to this point.
This isn't good and might suggest a mobo problem in slot 2.
This memory also uses "dual channel" technology, whatever that is. Can it be an issue with the way these particular two sticks are interacting with each other?
Please help guys. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number iBuyPower/Gamer Extreme 524SLC OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz) Motherboard Chipset: AMD 770 Memory 4GB DDR3 1333 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VK246H Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 3 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Hard Drives 750GB SATAII Other Info Network Adaptors:

Please help guys. You have an all hands on deck. we have 6 of the best looking. Without even checking your specs, I bet you are 64bit. Yes ram can does go bad, yes it could be mobo, but if there was an earlier OS on it I doubt it. When you are fisinhed checking both slots with both sticks let us know the results. Feel free to PM me when your done. This has gone on for far too long.

Alrightyyyyyyyyy.
So these are the results of my memtest:
Using memtest86 4.00
(FAIL - Original set-up on FIRST PASS)
Module A - Slot 1
Module B - Slot 2
(Good - 3 passes)
Module A - Slot 1
(Good - 2 passes)
Module B - Slot 1
(Good - 2 passes)
Module B - Slot 2
(FAIL - FIRST PASS)
Module B - Slot 1
Module A - Slot 2
(Good - 1 pass)
Module A - Slot 2
This is a bit frustating--my system is new! And yeah, its a 64bit.
Since its failing only when there are 2 modules, might it be a hardware problem exculsively?
PC specs are in my profile.
EDIT: Since my RAM is okay on one module it seems, I'm going to try to push Windows 7 to the limit with one module. If its running smoothly, then it might be hardware. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number iBuyPower/Gamer Extreme 524SLC OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz) Motherboard Chipset: AMD 770 Memory 4GB DDR3 1333 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 1GB Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VK246H Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 3 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Mouse Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser - Retail Hard Drives 750GB SATAII Other Info Network Adaptors:
