Windows 7 Crashes and dumps memory

I have recently installed Windows 7 from previously using XP.

I am finding it very good to use, but it randomly crashes around 2-3 times a week with blue screen and warnings saying that it dumps the memory.

I get the following error report after next boot up:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: FFFFF900C22F70B8
BCP2: 0000000000000001
BCP3: FFFFF96000154186
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\021110-23712-01.dmp
C:\Users\Savan Patel\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-111681-0.sysdata.xml

Does anyone have any ideas of the problems / solutions?

Many thanks in advance,

Regards,

Savan P

Try opening an elevated command prompt and running sfc /scannow.

Ok thats running at the minute, in its verfication stage.

I'm not sure I can analyze those files, but I can tell you what the scan did. It scanned for bad system files and attempted to repair them.

Hopefully that took care of the problem.

Good luck!

Ok we'll see what happens.

Do you know of any other solutions if the problem still persists?

Well, there's a few things we can try, like a memory test and other hardware checks, but let's see if repairing those system files did the trick.

Ok at the minute there has not been a crash since the scan.

If there happens to be a crash, I will post the dump file on here and let you know.

Thanks for the help.
