Windows 7 - Windows 7 hangs when Media player window is moved

| | Windows 7 hangs when Media player window is moved Hello. My Windows 7 machine hangs sometimes when I move a Windows Meda Player window around and a movie is played by the player. Sound continues but the system is non-responsive and the only solution is to press a reset button. Did anybody experience this? |

Most of time the freezing issue is caused due to bad drivers or out-dated drivers. Make sure all your drivers are up to date. Uninstall your Antivirus / Firewall and see whether that makes any difference. Reboot the System in Selective Startup. Also post us the MSINFO32 file. Quote: MSINFO32: Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post. If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. - Info by John Captain |
