Windows 7 - Why So Many BSOD?

This has got to be the most active topic here and I don't understand why...

I've been running 7 since 7100 and have never expereinced a BSOD. Since the final release in October I've done literly 100's of installs and have not experienced one BSOD on friends, family's, or client's machines.

Just can't understand where all these problems are coming from.

You'd have to believe that these share a common denominator yet I'm not seeing it....

There are several common denominators

First 95% 64 Bit.
Second mostly Memory >70% win 7 is finicky about 64 bit memory voltages.
Third overclocking, heat, bad drivers.

As someone who has analysed over a thousand. I can just look at a DMP and know what the cause is going to be.If you buy all your memory up front you will have less problems. Dont overclock still less. Make sure your computer runs cool, less problems as well. Commoon sense is sometimes not so common.

I would say mostly its because of bad or old drivers that does not work with Windows 7. Mostly they use the driver from Windows update which doesn't choose the best or Update driver which mess things up. Then people will try to Overclock and finally mess things up and end up in BSOD. Then yeah a bad piece of hardware then they would have a great spec but not enough Power / Air cool.. This list will go on. If you never got a BSOD your lucky. I got one when i tried to install my creative sound card driver then found a updated driver installed that and problem solved.

what do you meen by this? that when running win7x64, the DRAM voltage must be more accurate than with win7x32? or is it in general voltages (north bridge etc)?
