Alright, so I installed the HD in another computer and, what do ya know, it doesn't boot! So I know now for sure that there is something with the HD! I contacted WD support and they said that I'm eligible for a replacement. Should I still try and fix this drive or just go for an RMA?

if you have any data try to backup and then see if you can wipe it before sending it to WD...
if you have the option to RMA, then i believe that would be the best option...

Well I have alot of Steam games and some others. How would I go about backing them up?

you shouldn't have to worry about steam...
the cool thing about it is that all you have to do once you get your replacement is just download steam and log in...
the installation files for the game should be enough (if you have a disc then you dont have to backup anything..)

savefiles are whole different way and as such you may have to look around to find out where these are located...

Well I went ahead and did an RMA for a replacement drive. I'm also looking into a 80 GB back-up drive to store seperate files on. I would like to thank everyone for the support.

Before this thread dies out, I forgot that I overclocked my 9800GT using Precision before the computer crashed. Will it default back to it's original settings? There was an option in the program to apply settings at start-up, hopefully it didn't alter the card itself.
