Windows 7 - Event Viewer and Task Scheduler Not Working

| | Event Viewer and Task Scheduler Not Working Hello - today I tried to open the Task Scheduler and it simply did not open. No error message. Process simply dies. Both services are started. I did a restore from a a week ago - last time I successfully used task scheduler. No luck. After a bit of investigation I realised I have the same problem with the Event Viewer. If I open MMC and try to snap-in the Task Scheduler or Event Viewer, then MMC crashes. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks |
