Hi, i have this error when ( aparently) i turn on my tv prgram with winTV NOVA-TD-HD usb dongle and doing nothing more, help pls:

I suspect your video card is fried. Try borrowing a card from a friend, or buying one from a store that allows you to return it if you don't need it.

Most of the dmps point to atikmdag.sys, which is a video card driver.

For the sake of money, I suggest uninstalling your video card drivers completely, then installing the latest version from ATi. Install the driver only, not the Catalyst Suite.

Make sure your system is not overheating. Make sure you don't have a dust buildup, and check your temps with Speedfan.

Reseat your video card as well. A poorly seated card can cause BSODs.

If nothing else works, time to investigate a new card.

Very thx for reply, i suspect is the driver when apply ULPS to the 5970. Ihave the 10.5 fix driver installed is the last from amd. This problem only comes in desktop when the card is in idle state. In games run very good without problem.
My temps are 35º and 40º in idle, and 64º 67 in load.

Time for uninstall drivers and retest.

Hi , i have reinstall a few versions of ati drivers this days and seems be the 10.2 and 10.5 beta dont make me bsod on desktop but the ogl drivers crashes my trackir5 program. I install the new drivers 10.6 and only in desktop making nothing in 30 mins or 1h, (its random) bsod return but this time only reports BAD_POOL_CALLER ??? WTF???.

Any can help me with this new issue?
