| | Processes List for Debugging This is a running list of processes that run in Windows for use in Debugging. Feel free to add to it, and I will keep this post updated. amdk8.sys -Amd CPU driver ASACPI.sys -Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility. Also a part of the Asus PCProbe and AISuite Utilities. Known to cause BSoDs. ataport.SYS -And IDE Storage driver atikmdag.sys -ATI Video Card Driver. This is the standard name for ALL of ATI's drivers. avguard.exe -AntiVir AV process. avgtdia.sys -AVG process. avgwdsvc.exe -AVG antivirus process. Known to cause problems. Removal tool here. conhost.exe -Windows system file. Fixes drag and drop from Vista CLASSPNP.SYS -The driver for SCSI devices. dwm.exe -Desktop Windows Manager. Windows system file. dxgmms1.sys -Part of DirectX. fileinfo.sys -Part of SuperFetch. System file. Intelppm.sys -Intel Processor driver L1E62x64.sys -Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller mfehidk.sys -Mcafee antivius component mscorsvw.exe -Precompiler for the .NET assembly. Windows system File. msrpc.sys -Windows System file. mxopswd.sys -Maxtor OneTouch Driver NETw5s64.sys -Intel Wireless Driver. Npfs.SYS -Critical System File. Ntfs.sys -Windows NTFS file system driver. ntkrnlmp.exe -Windows system process. nvlddmkm.sys -NVidia Graphics Driver. pci.sys -Windows System PCI driver. SPTD.sys -Driver KNOWN to cause BSoDs. Removal Tool Here. WerFault.exe -Windows Error Reporting Process. win32k.sys -Windows system process. Xfire.exe -In-game chat client. usbehci.sys -Windows system USB driver.
