Windows 7 - ASIO4ALL 2.10 Crashes Windows 7 When i Open My Sibelius Software

I was told to download ASIO4ALL to fix a latency problem with my brand new Sibelius 6 Notation software. So I downloaded it and saved it to program files. No problem. Then, when I open Sibelius, Windows 7 crashes (blue window). . every time. So i uninstall ASIO4ALL and Sibelius opens with no problems. Install ASIO4ALL again and it crashes again. and so on. I'm your normal ignorant user. Need help!

Well, your problem is obvious. Get rid of ASIO4ALL, and KEEP it off.

Since that is an audio driver, you should get the update from your computer manufacturers website.

Also, would you upload your dump files just so we can check anyways?

The website doesn't mention WIndows 7 on it yet. It may not strictly be Windows 7 compliant.

Besides, trying to get low latency out of WDM is generally just going to be trouble. Better to get a real low latency sound card like something from M-Audio or other company that specifically makes sound cards for music use.
