Windows 7 - NETw5v64 error on INtel wifi running windows 7 32 and 64bit

Hi,

As of last month I've had alot of issues with my wireless connection, it started on one of my laptops running Intel Wifi 5100 then it happend on my other running Intel Wifi 6200, both built in adapters.

Router is d-link dir-655 with firmware 1.33 when problems started, now it's running 1.34

WPA2 for security over the wireless

Updated both my laptopts to latest driver 13.1.1.1 from Intel but its still same problem.
Sometimes it detects the wireless network but can't connect, sometimes it can connect but drops connection after exactly 2minutes.

Tried with another router, same issues there.

Re-installed the laptop with the 5100-built-in card to win7pro 32bit, still same error just that its NETw5v32 spamming eventlog.

Anyone got any ides?

if updating the driver did not work, you might want to try this:
Go to Control Panel->System->Hardware Tab->Device Manager. Select Intel Pro under Network Adapters. Right Click and Select Properties, then under power manager, you can uncheck the box that say:
"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

You might want to update power manager driver from the manufactue's site

Had that option de-selected, still same issue.

Any more ideas? Could it be some update from Windows Update that makes the Intel drivers go bananas?

Please read this discussion, it might help you out, focus on this part, I think it might help. There are so many solutions to this issue (for me, it was to update power manager driver). You might find solution to yours from this (play with it):

Thanks for the ideas, tested all but still same problem.

Im still thinking its some update destroying the intel cards or so, or is it the security I use that it doesnt like? wpa2?

have you tried all other options beside wpa2. I use no authentication and It has been fine. One thing you can try is to go to device manager, right click to wireless card-->properties--> and uninstall the driver, then install the latest one you downloaded from intel website. I have heard some people have new updated and their connection drop (some could not even get into internet), but always make sure WINDOW update is on, it might fix problem.
