Object Dock question I gather that several people here are using Object Dock.
I tried it too and I like it, but is there a shortcut to bring it up front when it's hidden behind other programs?
It shouldn't be on top all the time but now I have to minimize all windows to get access to it which isn't too handy. | My System Specs |

1- Right-clic you dock
2- go to settings, you should have that kind of window
3- clic on accessibility and check the " keep on top" option.
I hope this help... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made 00x OS 7Home64 CPU AMD Phenom II x4 965 - 3,4GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H Memory DDR3 1333Mhz, 8Gb (Corsair xms3 : 9, 9, 9, 24) Graphics Card GeForce GTX550Ti 1024mb GDDR5 (Gainward) Sound Card Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer Monitor(s) Displays Acer 27", led, full hd Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech + Saitek "Cyborg Command Unit" Mouse Logitech LS1 laser PSU CombatPower 750W, 12cm fan Case Antec "Three Hundred", 12 + 14 cm fans Cooling Noctua NH-U12P (CPU) + 2xNF-B9 (HDD's) + NF-P12 (case side) Hard Drives G-Skill SSD 80Gb + Kingston SSD 64Gb + WD sata 500Mb + Hitachi sata 1Tb Internet Speed 4Mb/s Other Info 6-fan-&-temp controller Scythe Kase Master Pro 5.25 |

The easiest way to get what you are looking for is to set the dock to always on top and to autohide - in this way moving the mouse to the correct area will automatically show the dock | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Real World Computing (Me + a little help from Acer) OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 + x86 + Windows 8 x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2.6 GHz Motherboard Aspire M3400 Memory 4Gb PC10600 DDR3 1333 MHz Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 315 512MB Sound Card OnBoard - Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Philips 32" HDTV, (HDMI) + 26" TV (VGA) Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 @60Hz + 1360 x 768 @60Hz Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) Mouse Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) PSU Stock (400W) Case Acer M3400 Cooling Stock Hard Drives 500 GB Seagate ST3500418AS SATA II

How do I enable autohide? I have the free version, not the plus one. | My System Specs | | OS Win 7 Professional 64bit CPU Intel i7-3930K @ 3.2GHz Memory 16 GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Monitor(s) Displays 1 CRT, 1 LCD Hard Drives 3 hard drives |

I use plus version for a long time now, so i can't remember exactly
but you certainly can follow the contextual menu of the dock such as
right clic the dock > find something like "view" > "autohide" | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made 00x OS 7Home64 CPU AMD Phenom II x4 965 - 3,4GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H Memory DDR3 1333Mhz, 8Gb (Corsair xms3 : 9, 9, 9, 24) Graphics Card GeForce GTX550Ti 1024mb GDDR5 (Gainward) Sound Card Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer Monitor(s) Displays Acer 27", led, full hd Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech + Saitek "Cyborg Command Unit" Mouse Logitech LS1 laser PSU CombatPower 750W, 12cm fan Case Antec "Three Hundred", 12 + 14 cm fans Cooling Noctua NH-U12P (CPU) + 2xNF-B9 (HDD's) + NF-P12 (case side) Hard Drives G-Skill SSD 80Gb + Kingston SSD 64Gb + WD sata 500Mb + Hitachi sata 1Tb Internet Speed 4Mb/s Other Info 6-fan-&-temp controller Scythe Kase Master Pro 5.25 |

If you set the dock to Hide in the background when not in use, you should (even with other windows.. i.e. firefox open) be able to move your mouse to the very top of the screen, about a second later the dock should come to to the top. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate CPU AMD Athlon II X2 245 2.90Ghz Motherboard Some Gigabyte one, dont remember model Memory 3.00 GB Graphics Card 8800GTS 512MB Sound Card Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Monitor(s) Displays Dual 22" widescreen Keyboard Saitek Eclipse 2 Mouse Logitech MX518 PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply Case Thermalkake Tsunami Dream Cooling Thermaltake Golden Orb II Hard Drives 250GB internal, 500GB internal |

The problem that I have with ObjectDock is that nothing in Windows ever stays "Always-On-Top". Not even desktop gadgets. I would love it if there were a way to bring it to the front when it inevitably gets buried. Right now, I have to minimize all of my open windows. Turn "Always-On-Top" off and then on again. Why has this always been a problem in Windows? | My System Specs | | Object Dock question problems? All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:03 PM. | |
