Ok Lets try this again - Proper way to move default folders

Ok im going to try this again but this time im asking for help :) tired of half ass working things you know! Anyway..

I just installed fresh Windows 7 x64 and have a secondary harddrive installed drive E: on drive E I have folders called My Music / My Documents / My Pictures etc... and I want windows to not look or use c:\users\xxx folders as the default.

Previously I right click these and said MOVE to e:\ which some worked some didn't while others had security issues galore. I want to know the proper way to move the folders paths to existing directories on the E drive. Can someone please inform me of the RIGHT fullproof way to so this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Village Pop,

Brink wrote a tutorial on this. Now let's see if I can locate it.

OK. I failed to find it.

Someone else will most assuredly jump in with the link.

Maybe this is what you are wanting to do?
    Library - Set Save Folder

or maybe this User Folders - Change Default Location
