Issues with DWM and Windows Aero.

Hello, I recently put together this computer and all was working well until a few days ago. When I start my computer up, Windows Aero flickers off after about a minute or so, it eventually comes back and stays but I fear a greater problem is behind it. When it goes off I use the Aero troubleshoot feature and the diagnosis is that the Desktop Windows Manager was disable, However I get no prompt of that occurring, and when I checked the the DWM it is set to automatic. As said Aero eventually returns after a few minutes or so, though it's obviously strange that it goes off in the first place with no warning of the DWM being disable or re-enabled. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Lulubop,

Have you updated your graphics drivers recently? To do this, type Device Manager in the Start menu search field, click the first result, then navigate to your video card, right-click, select Properties, switch to the Driver tab, and click Update Driver. Let me know if that helps.

    Cheers,

If it was working fine a few days ago, then my guess is, something you have installed is messing it up.
Click start type in 'msconfig' hit enter then go to the start up tab, untick anything that you have recently installed, usual suspects are adobe, quick time!!

Yes, My the drivers for my gpu are up to date, and I tried the msconfig and it's still happening. I'm having some issues with my RAM at the moment, can that be a culprit?
