I'm pretty sure this can't be done from a normal PC. Usually the programming for such a device is ROM (read only memory) and the manufacturer goes through a couple extra steps to insure you can't do this. What are you trying to get it to do?

Oh i see, well this is the reason i got my hopes up. Sprites mods - Use a cheap digital photoframe as a second display for your PC - Introduction.
If not, something since I have no sd card to display pics, even tho there are some sample pics in the flash.
Maybe replace the sample pics? Or get rid of the MSDC black screen that shows up when i plug into usb. I guess I thought it would be easy, like modding an ipod or something like that. I've done it with a sansa. I put games in there and other cool things it didnt have. And it was all easy. Didnt even have to take it apart.
Umm connect lcd to a computer , well parts of a computer i once had, i took it apart now i have video card sound card, everything, cpu etc. When I think of what i can do i picture lcd screens in the cars connected to one source diplaying the same thing.(Not saying I want to put lcds in cars lol) maybe on the wall or something. Via usb? Or just to connect the LCD onto something else. Ive thought about a webcam, attaching it to the LCD.So many ideas so little knowledge.thyre 3.5" i have a few. What would be the things i need to read up on to build stuff with lcds. and make cpus and stuff, like a way to teach myself. How to mod them.
Main Page - Picframe <-check this out even though its for ubuntu
