    Color Screen only on Desktop


    Ok here it goes. I have an ASUS G71G-A2. It came with Vista Home Premium 64bit which I hate. I recently updated to Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Install was fine until it finished and I rebooted and now all I can get for wallpaper is colors. I can choose any color and the screen will change. If I try to put a picture it simply will not show. If I pick a theme everything about the theme (sound, aero color, screen saver, etc.) will show except the picture. Just the color. I have the notebooks monitor at the native 1920 x 1200 and I have a dual monitor (Dell 19" widescreen) at it's native 1440 x 900. I have updated my graphics card (Nvidia 9800M GS) with the latest driver. I have tried the DWORD trick and the Transcoded.jpg removal/ .ini file deletion method to no avail. I have no idea what to do next. Can anyone help?

    How to place theme under the Aero theme section

    This will give you a better selections of themes and styles.

    Unfortunately this does not solve my problem. I still can't post any pictures including those in the themes to my desktop wallpaper.
