    Grouping shortcuts to apps

I can't find how to do the following very simple thing in Windows 7, probably because I'm not using the right buzzwords.

I want to group shortcuts to apps that I commonly use so that, for example, with one mouseclick (ot two at the most) I can see the shortcuts to all my photo retouching and photo management apps or all the shortcuts to my geotagging and mapping apps or all the shortcuts to my music editing apps and so forth. The reason is that sometimes I can't remember the exact name of an app I'm looking for but I know, for example, that it's in my music editing "toolbox" so when I hit the Start button and I'm asked for the name of a program or app to search for I'm left scratching my head.

There must be a simple way to do this.

    Hello Paddy,

I suppose that you could use Quick Launch or a Toolbar or two (see also: Taskbar - Pin or Unpin a Folder ) on the taskbar to place your shortcuts into for easy use.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks, Shawn.

I looked at the Toolbar video you linked to and will use that route.
