Windows 7: Create My winkey shortcuts manually?

Create My winkey shortcuts manually?

winkey + E : my computer
winkey + D : Desktop
winkey + R : Run
-----------------------
Its default shortcuts on windows 7.
and I starting hope I create the my own.
(for example : winkey + G = open folder or reboot)
I googled it, and a lot of people said "install WinKey(Program name)".
Yes, it can to do create my own.
but I wanna create manually, for example, like edits registry method.
anyone know create it manually without utility?

try this it might help a bit.
go to the exe file, or the shortcut, right click, properties, shortcut tab, left click in the shortcut key box, and click a short cut key combination.
when i tried the windows key, it registered as if it was ctrl & alt key combination.
i did it in windows 7, but ir emember it the same in xp and vista.

Be careful. Many of them are already assigned. E.g. Winkey+G shows the Gadgets on top of a page.

as whs said, be careful as many are already assigned. True you can "override" the MS assignment and I ran across one machine where a young man had overridden WIN + Spacebar.

I love using Win+E for explorer. I always wished Win+I would open IE (Or your default (I)nternet browser...
