| | Check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE as well. You're looking for "TaskbarLockAll" or "LockTaskbar". The registry values have to be set somewhere since that is the only feasible way to disable that context menu item. The only other way for that item to be grayed out is if the height of the taskbar is 0 and I have no idea how somebody could get into that state. |

| | THANK YOU FOR THE SUGGESTION .... !! Didn't follow the REG tweak exactly - but did find a value for a 'locked taskbar' so I just changed it from 0 to 1 and it worked - didn't have to delete anything. Wouldn't have looked if you hadn't suggested it though - much appreciated ! Thanks ! -Tagen |
