Windows 7: 2 backgrounds on 2 monitors?

I have my laptop set up so that it uses the screen on the laptop and an additional LCD screen.

Is there a way to have 2 different background images, one on each screen??

Ultramon can do it

this may do it too,
DisplayFusion ~ Multi-Monitor Taskbar, HotKeys, Window Management, Wallpaper Manager and much more

I use Ultramon on my setup

If you press the

key and 'P' together, select 'Duplicate'. I have not tried this before, but if you right click on one of the screens' desktop, and click on personalize, select your background there, then on another monitor, select a different background.

EDIT: This is only if you want to use Windows 7 to do it, if you don't mind, use a third party software as directed above.

I used to use the free version of this software with vista and it worked well. The site states it will work with 7 as well. Displayfusion: DisplayFusion ~ Multi-Monitor Taskbar, HotKeys, Window Management, Wallpaper Manager and much more

I have a tri setup and run DisplayFusion Pro, very good app tons of customization options for multi-monitors. You should give the free version a try.

Thanks TBVNZ it works on 7 I have different resolution on each screen

I use Stardock Deskscapes But its not free for more custom one but you do get the default ones
