| | In Control Panel, go to Folder Options, and under View enable "Always show menus". Now go to Windows Explorer and set it up the way you want. Return to Folder Options - now you can get to it via the Tools menu - and under View select "Apply to all folders". |

| | Hello Shantred, In additon, this tutorial can help show you how to set a default folder view for all folders in Windows 7. You will want to use General Items at step 1, then set the view to List in step 2. Folder View - Set a Default for All Folders Hope this helps, Shawn |
