    Help to Get rid of Entries from Notification area!


    how to remove this entries from my notification area....not to disable...to remove?

    this app i installed from Deviant art to make my task bar transparent is causing some lagg when i play game so i want to remove them from my status/notification area as shown in picture...

    Notification Area Icons - Reset

    But you'd have to uninstall the problem app as well, or it will probably show up again in the list.

    i have uninstalled the program...it was just exe :)

    now what's gonna happen to the stuff i have installed...like VLC player and KIS after i reset would they re-appear when they load up after reboot or what?

    Yeah, they should, or when you use the programs. You're just resetting them, clearing out old ones.

    The best way to control what is showing up in the notifiytion area is to control the startup programs. If you disable all startups (but not the AV) there should be only the bare bones left.
