Right click your desktop, click personalize, press any color, then put color intsensity to the lowest that you can.
Looks very transparent then.
I don't know about gadgets though.

Thanks Derekimo...i also tried Super Transparency.zip by Prisoner but that also didn't worked because anti-virus detected it as a Virus but then allowed it but can't unzip it & it says now that no file found . Just want to know & confirm that full glass.exe can be run on x86 machine because whole day have been reading about it but no where this information mentioned??? Thanks again will try...

Thanks for the info Bongo...since we both got same laptop though in India they gave me 32bit processor & label says 64bit , anyways i want to know that is it for x64 or x86 because that's the issue most of the glass apps. that i've come across are x64 & the website doesn't say so as well, so, hey buddy just let me.

Thanks...
The Zip file from deviantart contains both versions.
You never mentioned if you got the UXSTYLE or a similar program which allows windows to use custom made themes not signed by Microsoft.
It works for me so far as with the right theme, all explorer windows are now glassy
I still have to find matching gadgets. But I find it hard to work with that eye candy on a day to day basis, so I switched back to "normal view" for normal work, I rather look at black text on white ground
