The New Taskbar?

Hi guys...
My question is: can you remove/disable the new taskbar, and get the old one with the text again?

Thanks on advance

It would be nice if you specified the steps you took to resolve this so other users may benefit from it - those that want the old Vista taskbar that is....

Hello everyone,

first time poster, long time reader of sevenforums.

Sergiogarcia9,
Why did you have to disable the super task bar?

My guess would be because he simply didn't like it - remember, there were many people who used the old Win2K-like interface on XP, and many who used Classic on Vista as well....

True, I'm the guy who dual booted Win95 and Dos 6.22. Well most of us did.

But my, can anyone not like the new task bar? So productive and organized. No more "wow I have a lot of windows open" or " where's that window"

I'm new here and I want to contribute, thanks.

I personally have no issues with you liking or not liking the new taskbar - to each his own.

I personally like it, with the ability to pin my most used apps right there eon the taskbar - Fx, Tb, Xplorer^2, and a couple of others.....

Is there a method/hack or a 3rd-party program that allows the user to hide the taskbar by dragging its top border line downwards, after un-locking the taskbar? I remember I could do that under Win9x.
