Span wallpaper?
Hi!
Is there a way to span my wallpaper over multiple monitors and still use the slideshow function?
Thanks in advance.

Replying mainly so I get updates on this good question.
There is an implication that you can get wallpaper to span both monitors - I can but have to use 3rd party proggie (Display Fusion) to do so. Am I wrong?
You want a program like DisplayFusion which can make wallpapers spread across monitors and you can find multi-monitor wallpapers from deviantART: where ART meets application!.
Yeah, but will I still be able to use the slideshow function in win 7?
No
Apply rotate wallpaper and you lose Fusion, and vice versa
A little known trick which has worked since XP: Make the wallpaper as wide as you want it (e.g. for me, two 1680x1050 monitors = one 3360x1050) exactly as you want it to appear and then apply it, and set it to tile. Hey presto. All the third party apps are totally unnecessary.
This would also enable slideshow to keep working as normal.
There is a third party app called John's Background Switcher that does an amazing job of this. I don't know yet if it works in 7, but it's an incredible program that scales, spans, and more with any background image and turns it into a slideshow, lightbox, and all sorts of things.
