Windows 7: Object Dock 2 users... help please!

It's me again.
I wouldn't have thought that a little app like Object Dock would give me so much trouble...
One of my software works like this: I drag the file I want to open onto the icon and it opens in that software. (When I open the software first and use the "Load" command I have to navigate through tons of folders, that's why I prefer the drag-and-drop method.)

This did work in the old free version of Object Dock. Now I've upgraded to the full version 2 and it doesn't work anymore. I can't drag the file onto the icon, the dock moves the software icon out of my way and places the file as a new shortcut onto the dock. I can't find any settings to change that behaviour.

Any suggestions?
