Windows 7 - XP Animated Desktop programs

| | XP Animated Desktop programs Now that fall (in the US) is approaching, it's time to dust off one of my two absolute favorite programs for PCs: AutumnLeaves (and Snow For Windows in the winter). But, alas, they don't work  My system is Windows 7 Ultimate-64 (8gig on an i7 920 quad, and ati xfx radeon hd). I've tried setting the compatibility of the programs to various settings but none work. At best, I can get the Snow program to have some of the resting objects (that lay at the top of open windows or the bottom of the screen) to show up as flat lines. They are suppose to be falling snow flakes that twirl and blow around with the wind, and then "stick" to the top of windows, etc. Just wondering if other people have had favorite animated desktop programs on XP that they found a way to get working with Win-7 (64)?
